LizardKing
Anyone know of a good contractor who can do things without a manual? My wine cellar has gone off a bit and stopped being cold enough (22C vs 14C). I'm reasonably sure it needs a recharge, but I have no specs. Having been an automotive climate control engineer, I can make a pretty good guess as to the charge specs, and help them look for the reason why it is off. But I need someone who can do it. Any suggestions?
Nervous God
What a weird coincidence! The freezer at home stopped working today!
Pom Michael
I think location of the guy is important. I have a local guy that comes in for aircon cleaning and refrigerator issues but around the airport area. Don't know anyone around this area. cavanami
The local people that I have used are a bit primitive. I have never seen them with an ultrasonic leak detector and such. They slap on the gauges and pump in a bit of freon. For your wine cooler, you most likely have a leak and need a few ounces of freon. Try the shop you bought the unit at? I think Makro sells small units like what you have and may have service info?
