shygye
A month after a woman's family was pulled to safety from their burning minivan, the mother was found dead in her home. Now, investigators have released the surprising cause of the sudden death -- the woman choked while she was at home after putting her children to bed for the night. Just last month, the Hinesville, Ga. family survived thanks to a North Carolina Highway Patrolman's heroic actions. The mom and four kids became famous and appeared on the CBS Early Show and other TV news programs. Jessica White-Depriest, who was driving her family on Interstate 95 when her minivan caught fire, has died. She was not injured in the fire, but she died weeks later. White-Deprist, 24, was found dead by a relative who visited the family the morning of Oct. 13 , said Detective Kyle Lairamore of the Hinesville Police Department, WRAL reported. Now, investigators say that the young mother choked on a bologna sandwich last week, WRAL reported. The waxy red tape was still on the edge of the bologna sandwich when DePriest took a bite, her adoptive mother, Janice White, told WRAL. "When they did the autopsy, they said that's what it was, and they said that's why she couldn't get the bologna out of her throat," said White, who lives in Dunn. ...
