Yahoo blocked my outgoing e-mail

Yesterday, I tried to send an e-mail via Yahoo to my sister, which contained primarily only some links to information from the USA's Nat'l Institute of Health. Upon hitting the send button the following large pop-up appeared from Yahoo:

[color:blue]"Your message was not sent:

We encourage you to review the contents and recipient list of your message, and try sending it at after an hour or two. Doing so will usually resolve the matter.

Strange!! I tried to sent the message again, and again the Yahoo pop-up appeared. Yet, my email was addressed to one recipient and didn't contain anything resembling spam. A day later I was able to again send e-mail, but didn't re-try sending the e-mail that triggered the Yahoo notice. Has anyone else has this experience with Yahoo?

The only thing I can surmise that may have triggered the Yahoo pop-up was that recently I've been deluged with the Nigerian scam mail. Some days I'll find as many as 5-25 pieces of spam mail, in my spam folder!! I've never felt so popular...arghhh!

I've good security and firewall and don't know for sure what site caused the problem. I've not been on any porn sites in months :-), but suspect it may have been from using www.bt-chat.com which is one of the sites I sometimes use to d/load TV shows.

I've seldom have received any spam mail for years and am now pissed-off! To resolve the problem should I go through the hassle of creating and transferring contacts to new Yahoo acc't, leaving the original one to expire?? Or, is there any alternatives to creating a new acc't?
