At around 1930, the police had Suk blocked at soi 20 and were searching everyone. Lots of commotion, flashing lights, sirens, etc. This went on for a couple of hours, then the whole circus seemed to move on down Suk towards Asoke. No idea what they wanted. Too early for a drink driving or drugs search IMHO -- heck it sure made a mess as it was the tail-end of rush hour. Still puzzled what it was all about.
