I pull for any team playing a northeast team, but especially if the opponent is a NY team (in any sport) :content: I think the winner of the Steelers-Jets game will win the Super Bowl. (But I'd rather see the Packer or Bears win it.) HH

The Vegas oddsmakers have the Pack to win by 3.5 or so at Chicago and the Steelers to win by about 4 at home against the Jets. I'm sure they have no idea what they're talking about.
Hugh_Hoy Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Well, Packers and Steelers both covered the lines. Early odds favor the Packers in the SB by 1.5 to 2.5, depending on the book. Should be a good game. I'm picking the Steelers cuz of their defense. Packers had a good first half against the Bears, but couldn't do squat in the second half against a very good defense. And defense is certainly a strong suit for the Steelers. (Actually, these teams are very evenly matched offensively and defensively.) That said, wouldn't bother me to see the cheeseheads win. HH
