I like some trance for sleeping music.

I bet you 10 dollars that if Zappa was around today, Scrutinizer, he'd be a big fan of electronic music.

And it's certainly where the most raw, innovative, and dynamic releases in pop stuff is taking place. Not saying that Rock is Dead, but it's kinda become cliched like owning a Harley. More an expression of Nostalgia. It's desperate for an infusion of life.

Here's a little journey for you (and I'm serious about this) -- you can start here with

then ratchet things up and pay a visit to

and finally cap off the journey under a cloudless night with Paul Van Dyk

And tell me it's not a wonderful thing.

Or, you can just go back to the old Bon Jovi Albums.

btw - I liked your Leftfield/Lydon post of 'open up.' (that was you, right?) They used to play that cut A LOT in Chicago bars (Dome Room, Lava Lounge) when I was coming of age.

Loved the opening: 'you lied, you faked, you cheated, you changed the stakes' gradually leading up to 'burn, hollywood, burn.'

I would ask people -- 'who is that?' when it first came out. One guy told me -- 'you remember Johnny Rotten? that's him.' I thought the guy was another idiot, clueless what he was talking about.

Turned out I was the idiot.

:)

Alright, babbling. Again. :doah:
