there talks a Scotish man talking about allegiance, who just happens to support and writes about an English team.... :surprised::shakehead

at least i support my team team because i was born in Manchester.

i follow Gillingham in Kent as my parents were born there and i lived in Kent for a while before we moved to Singapore.

and i also follow the Blue Brazil as we lived in Cowdenbeath when my dad was stationed at Faslane.

and the mighty Beath are heading for promotion in a few weeks......:grinyes::tuxedo::_party::chili::yay:

Last time I checked, Manchester had *two* teams in the Premier League .....

I dont know anything about soccer, er, football, but they insist on showing the highlights here in Oz.

Of course, Man United seem to have a better record, but I'm sure that has nothing whatsoever to do with your decision. :neener:

I would add that there is a Manchester team which pre-datee both of the above:

Where were you in 1872 ? In a happy coincidence, big things were happening in Thailand:

i can see you know nothing about football.

Manchester has only one 'official' team in the Premier League.

Manchester United are not(or were not classed as a Manchester team as they did'nt play in the boundries of the city of Manchester).

but things may have changed over the years.

i support Manchester United because my forebearers did so why not should i?.

yes MU have been more successful in the last few years but i certainly remember the dark days when my team were in the doldrums......
