Dexi
Saw an interesting doco on the tv recently about eating/fatness and health. In lab experiments they found that mice fed a meagre diet lived 50% longer than mice allowed to eat as much as they liked ( and so became obese ).Obesity in humans has been linked to health issues such as stroke, diabetes and Alzheimers. At the end of the prog. they suggested beneficial health effects could be achieved by going without food every other day.I gave this a try for a week but found it so unpleasant I had to give up.So now its back to the old routine and putting weight back on
