gawguy
Something I've never done. I've been trying. I've found what I thought were explanations on line, but they didn't work. I searched for "how do you make a word link to a website." They say to use this format: <a href="URL HERE">TEXT HERE</a> Seems easy but when I insert something like that into an email or post, it appears just like that. I am copying URL in, not typing it in. Would that be a problem? I wouldn't think so. Did I search up the wrong thing? Thanks, Gaw Guy
Redbaron
for in here (Thai 360.com most forums) there is a clickable box just next to the smiley face (above where you type on the forum) - when you hover the cursor over it it should say "Insert Link" click on it and there will be a place to write your link, and a place saying "My Link" - where you can write something other than the link (www) which will show as a clickable link. like this In an email it depends on your email program etc I think. khunsanuk
Hi, They say to use this format: TEXT HERE That is HTML, the language used to write websites. This forum - and most others - use what is called BB though. This is a simplified version of HTML; using HTML is possible but usually turned off for security reasons. In BB you would write the above like this (replace the { } with [ ] ): {URL=xxx}some text here{/URL} Sanuk!
