This may give you an idea of housing, since it even short term often beats hotel prices. You can do better with long term. I pay 8,000 baht a month for a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in Bangkok's northern suburbs. Money goes a lot farther here, and never forget that. What seems cheap at home may well be expensive here.

As you get older you do piss a lot more, but three toilets for two bedrooms seems excessive?

I sorta thought that. Would be interesting to hear if anyone has viewed any of the 1 bed condos in the 2-3mil range. Would make a great crash pad hidey hole.

Nope. It was sent to me. You'll notice the cheaper places are in Prakanong or at least past Ekamai. Not places someone on holiday is likely to want to stay. Also note that some places are by the month, others by the week.
