Caretaker Pm Pleads For Sympathy; Pdrc Calls On Her To Resign

Caretaker Premier Yingluck Shinawatra on Thursday asked for sympathy from the public, saying the government has good intentions in its work. :surprised:

She said her government did not want to see any exploitation for political gain. :rotl: She made the statement one day after the Constitutional Court ruled unanimously that her government’s Bt2 trillion loan bill is unconstitutional.

The Court reasoned that that the whole drafting process at its core is unlawful. The judges also ruled 6:2 that the bill was unlawful because some lawmakers voted on behalf of others who were absent from the parliamentary session.

Yingluck is ready to follow the Constitutional Court’s ruling on the Bt2 trillion infrastructure development projects.

After the ruling, the anti-government movement demanded that she take personal responsibility for the case.

The caretaker premier said she is ready to follow the court’s decision but will have to look through the details of the ruling. She was speaking during an official visit in northeastern province of Khon Kaen on Thursday.

Caretaker Deputy Premier Pongthep Thepkanchana and caretaker PM’s Office Minister Varathep Rattanakorn will oversee the legal matters before informing the public of the government’s next move.

Following the move of the opposition Democrat Party to impeach the cabinet, Yingluck said society will not be peaceful if the Democrats still use the law to attack the opposite side every day.

Meanwhile, the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) urged the caretaker premier to take responsibility following the court’s ruling by resigning from her post.

PDRC spokesman Akanat Promphan said that Yingluck’s resignation would push the country forward, adding that leaders of other countries usually resign from their post when a financial related law fails to gain approval.

Time to stage another on camera crying act. But to be truthful, Yingluck never showed the least bit of interest in politics until Big Brother decided to use her as his shadow puppet. What kind of a bunghole throws his totally clueless baby sister into the rough world of politics except for an absolute sociopath like Thaksin? I don't view Yingluck as being especially corrupt. Instead, she simply has no idea of what she is supposed to be doing as PM and the head of a political party. :shakehead

Hi,

"if the Democrats still use the law to attack the opposite side every day."

Hmm, seems to me using the law makes to attack 'opposite side' only makes sense if the 'opposite side' is breaking the law.

So, what does the continued use of the law say about the 'opposite side'?

Sanuk!
