waerth
Our ever peace loving red shirts at it again. http://en.khaosod.co.th/detail.php?newsid=1395654863 Nonthaburi PCAD Rally Site Seized By Redshirts (24 March) Redshirts activists have dismantled the rally stage set up by anti-government protesters in Nonthaburi province today. Supporters of the People's Committee for Absolute Democracy With the King As Head of State (PCAD) have previously installed a rally site, complete with loudspeakers and a stage, near the office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission in the province. But pro-government Redshirts under the name People's Radio for Democracy (PRD) later arrived at the scene, and proceeded to dismantle the rally stage. Police officers attempted to bar the Redshirts from storming the PCAD rally site, but the protesters have broken through the police barrier line by pushing six-wheeler trucks fitted with loudspeakers at the police officers. A leader of the PRD claimed the operation was meant to "seize back" the area from anti-government protesters. The PRD has held rally in front of the NACC office in the past to protest the Commission's corruption case against Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, and has vowed to stage another rally there. "We will stay here until 31 March," said PRD core leader, Mr. Sornrak Malaithong. Although no PCAD supporter was present at the rally site at the time of the incident, fistfights erupted when a monk approached the Redshirts before berating them for their actions and making other impolite remarks to the activists. Some of the Redshirts became enrgaged and mobbed the monk, who was later rescued from the angry mob by police officers and protest security guards. Coss
This is a disgrace. It confirms my view that there are significant proportions of Thai society that are slipping back down the evolutionary scale into the slime. Politics aside, who do these thugs think they are? Oh hang on, news just in: The one on the left - Thaksin's ex wife's brother's niece's step father in law. The one on the right - works for Thaksin's sister's accountant as a driver and gardener. The one in the saffron robes - a monk.
Flashermac
Most definitely not all red shirts are morons, but almost every one I see these does seem to belong at the bottom end of the IQ scale.

Flashermac
Verbal face off between two sides in Nonthaburi About 300 Community Radio for Democracy (CRD) protesters yesterday confronted but did not clash with People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) demonstrators at the office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in Nonthaburi. The CRD had earlier vowed to lay siege to the NACC office if it failed to look into its complaint that six NACC members had carried out their duty without having been royally endorsed. Authorities deployed two companies of anti-riot police to keep the peace, fearing clashes involving the PDRC group, who had been camping at the NACC as a show of support. After half an hour of verbal attack, the CRD advanced towards the PDRC, who retreated. After the PDRC left, CRD set up tents to stage a sit-in protest at the NACC office. The CRD guards meanwhile detained Chokchai Uthaichan, 58, a retired Navy sailor, who drove his pick-up truck into the barricades set up by the CRD. He said he sold goods to PDRC protesters and did not know the area had been taken over by the CRD. A monk identified as Pra Supawirut escaped being assaulted by CRD protesters by fleeing into a shop nearby after one shouted he was a PDRC protester. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/politics/Verbal-face-off-between-two-sides-in-Nonthaburi-30229994.html
