Suthep has announced it and it looks like it is going to happen.

...

Michael Yon (at the protest camp tonight) -

Just spoke with Akanat about various topics. PDRC likely will be dissolved by 27 May. After that, leaders such as Akanat, Suthep, and others will face many charges. Akanat, for instance, is facing a charge of insurrection. This is one of the highest charges in Thailand just as treason is an extreme charge in the USA. Insurrection carries a possible death penalty.

When you meet the leaders who will face charges -- I have met most of them -- it is hard to imagine charging them with a capital crime. They have been calling for peace every day for months.

What the military will do next is anyone's guess. Across the board, none of the top PDRC, KPT or any thought leaders will gamble with guessing what comes next other than in vague terms. There are too many variables.

I must ask Buddha Isara what he will do. Will he continue after PDRC dissolves? My guess is that he will not stop on the 27th, but one never knows.

As for Dhamma Army, I do not know their intentions but will ask their leadership. I am also unclear what KPT will do. Will ask. One of the KPT leaders is on stage now. I will try to catch him when he comes off.

It strongly looks like PDRC will soon be part of history.

Suthep vows to surrender, stop rallies by May 27 if remaining Cabinet members not resign

Suthep Thaugsuban announced Saturday if not enough people come out to join his rallies to pressure the 24 remaining ministers to resign by May 26, he will surrender to police by May 27.

He said if the people do not come out in the number of over one million to support his campaign, he would stop the fight on May 27.

He said he could not afford fighting longer than May 26 because the country has suffered severely.

Suthep vows to surrender by May 27 if not winning

Suthep Thaugsuban, secretary general of the People's Democratic Reform Committee, announced today if not enough people come out to join his rallies to pressure the 24 remaining ministers to resign by May 26, he will surrender to police on the following day.

He said if over one million people do not come out to support his campaign, he would stop the fight on May 27.

He said he could not fight longer than May 26 because the country has already suffered severely.

Suthep said the latest round will begin at 10 am this Sunday when he will summon state enterprises to a meeting to give them assignments.

At 2 pm on Sunday, he will invite retired permanent secretaries and department chiefs to a meeting to draft operation plans for various government agencies.

On Monday, the demonstrators will be dispatched to various ministries or the residences of remaining ministers to demand them to submit their resignations.

Suthep said the people would hound the 24 remaining ministers wherever they go to demand them to resign. He would welcome tips from the public about the whereabouts of the ministers.

On Monday, he would encourage government officials, who are supporter of the PDRC, to rise up and refuse to carry out orders of the remaining ministers.

Suthep said he would convene a meeting of active permanent secretaries and department chiefs on Thursday to discuss how to eliminate the Thaksin's regime.

Friday to Sunday on May 25 would see the people rise up to force the ministers to resign. But if the fight is not won by Monday May 26, he will stop it on May 27.

...This is obviously where McCain, Palin, and Romney went wrong...they should’ve got the NRA to lay siege to Obama and Biden’s homes until they withdrew their candidacy.
