Flashermac
Not that I don't imagine she's had her fill of politics already ... The National Legislative Assembly on Friday voted overwhelmingly by 190 votes out of a possible 220 to impeach former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra in the rice-pledging case. Former Parliament president Somsak Kiartsuranon and former vice Parliament President Nikhom Wairatpanich escaped impeachment in another case. The NLA members cast their votes in secret ballots on the two cases at the same time, starting at 11am. The results were known at noon. The impeachment bans Yingluck from politics for five years. She was accused by the National Anti-Corruption Commission of negligence as duty as the prime minister, failing to act to stop massive corruption in the rice pledging-scheme. Eighteen NLA members voted to reject the impeachment request. Eight NLA members abstained and three ballots were declared invalid. Somsak and Nikhom were accused by the NAAC of abusing their authority as Parliament president and vice president to push through charter amendments on the Senate composition. The 220-member NLA failed to muster three fifths votes to approve the impeachment request against Somsak and Nikhom. Only 100 NLA members supported the impeachment request against Somsak, while 115 NLA members voted to reject the request. Four other NLA members abstained. A total of 95 NLA members voted to support the impeachment request against Nikhom while 120 NLA members voted to reject the request. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/politics/NLA-makes-history-by-impeaching-Yingluck-30252526.html

I'm afraid Bubi has been dipping into the Schnapps again. Sudarat Keyuraphan is still a dyed in the wool Red Shirt. She was Minister of Commerce and Agriculture under Yinglump, but no one has heard much from her since the coup. No one misses her very much either.
