The Nurse Association Friday filed a complaint with the Royal Thai Police, calling for action against the Mister U Bar and Restaurant on a soi off Ramkhamhaeng Road.

The association alleged that the bar had its waitresses and receptionists dressed in nurse uniforms, and thus damaging reputation of the profession.

Should have been an obvious no-no.

Good Lord, just imagine what the International Police Association is going to say, when they figure out that many Thai police stations have men and women dressed entirely in realistic police uniforms - damaging the reputation of the profession!

First went there in 1973. When I moved to Bangkok in 1978, I used to go there once a week. Must have done so for several years.

I wouldn't call them nurses' uniforms, just typical MP uniforms of that time. The HP massage on "New" Phetburi Road had them too, as did an MP I went to once in Songkla. :)
