Rama 2, the highway to Hua Hin, bumper to bumper at 7 AM this morning!! Pickups loaded with people, motobikes and refrigerators on the road to Issan but not anywhere near the crowd heading toward Hua Hin. *** Some *** of the u-turns have been blocked off (YES!!!). cavanami Posted April 13, 2015 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2015 Just got a report, friend traveling up to Khon Kaen from Bangkok yesterday, left 5Am, at 1Pm (8 hours later) only at Korat! Made it to Khon Kaen 8Pm last night, 15 hours of driving that is usually 5 1/2 hours!! WOW...did I make a good choice to stay around the ranch this year and not go to Khon Kaen. I was hoping folks would have gone away, but it seems many more have gone there. Bangkok plates on most of the cars - and almost Bangkok traffic.
