Guest
http://www.nationmul...e-30267815.html The Chinese are known to spend big money per day, more than many other nationalities. As the economic prospects are uncertain in Europe and the rest of the world, and tourist numbers drop. It is imperativeThailand encourages more Chinese visitors here. The Chinese have a reputation of poor manners, but Thai's over the years, have become accustomed to poor manners in anycase. Thai AirAsia is ready to open its fifth flight base, U-tapao, after Don Mueang, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Krabi, with flights to two Chinese cities - Nanning in the southwest and Nanchang in the southeast. "We believe that tourism in the east and Pattaya is growing very rapidly and that U-tapao Airport is absolutely ready to accommodate regular flights," CEO Tassapon Bijleveld said Monday. With plans to expand to other routes both domestic and international, the airline has targeted acquiring two Airbus A320s for a fleet at U-tapao. The U-tapao-to-Nanning route is available four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Nanning is connected to Guilin by high-speed train, making the two locations only two and a half hours apart.
