It never made the rerun circuit because the "Indian" was a British actor who had grown up in India and was completely fluent in Hindi. I don't think any Indians complained, but the PC brigade in the UK did. p.s. Same bizarre illegitimate son bit in both shows. The writers later confirmed that the sons really were their sons. (Dad's Army minor characters even played major parts in Are You Being Served, e.g. Young Mr. Grace.
