So 'mai law', would be not handsome, but a thai girl once told me that something like 'leuw law' meant always handsome. This has confused me alittle. Can anybody share some knowledge on this. Guest Posted June 10, 2002 Report Share Posted June 10, 2002 I expect she said ruup law (ÃÙ»ËÅèÃ), which is a common colloquial expression meaning handsome. The "r" would probably have come out as "l" and final consonants in Thai can be hard to hear, so it might sound to you something like "loo law".
