Flashermac
Why are the Islamists going after France so much? Because the French government is so anti-ISIS? p.s. 77 dead the last I heard. The driver was armed and was carrying grenades. Inshallah.
Dexi
I think France has the largest muslim population in the Eurozone,so even if only 0.001 % are extremists that still a problem.
Flashermac
"This is not the first time in recent years that someone has deliberately driven a truck into pedestrians on a French street. But the scale, speed and death toll from this apparent attack are unprecedented. "It follows an earlier call by so-called Islamic State (IS) spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani for IS followers to do exactly what this truck driver did. This, and other calls for attacks in Europe, are partly in response to the significant losses being experienced by IS to the shrinking territory it controls in Syria and Iraq. "US-led airstrikes, including by French warplanes, are taking a particularly heavy toll there. At home, France has become the number one target of opportunity for IS and its supporters, unperturbed by the national state of emergency that has just been extended." http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36800730

jitagawn
I am wondering why anyone would make and publish such a cartoon. Is it funny? No. Does it illustrate a point ? Well yes I guess it does but one that is very demented and sick. Just my point of view
YimSiam
Carnage is the word. Jayzus. Sometimes the outcomes of these attacks are so severe, you can imagine that the ISIS guys are thinking "God is on our side!" A simple act like driving a truck into a crowd needs virtually no preparation, technology, very little support - and yet results in 77 deaths, or more?! Appalling. And in little touristic Nice of all places - was there too months ago walking that same promenade, listening to the sea, enjoying nice food...
