Coss
I was reading an article about Rocket Lab wanting to launch a rocket every week, Link The article ends with "There are 11 countries that have been to orbit." At which point I had a thought, yes I know, keep calm, it doesn't happen very often. Musing Herein: In the history of the human race, teams tend to be very effective once they reach 10, 11 or 12 or so in number, look at Soccer, Rugby, Army squads etc. And in human history, when something is invented or arises, as a solution for which there is yet to be a problem, it does tend to get used. Like sailing to other continents, there was plenty of food at home. Plans for Mars, we could stay here and clean up our act, not a real problem, a real problem in this argument would be the earth splitting apart physically... So we've got a team, that can in one form or another, get off the planet. Elon Musk doesn't look so wacky now, I think we'll colonise Mars and elsewhere, because we can and because we have a team. Coss
Yes yes yes, but as soon as alien life looks to be a probability there'll be World Space Corp or some such, that's the point I'm making, we have enough individuals for a team...
