Although I had a room at the back away from the traffic the noise in the daytime was the main reason I only stayed once at the Majestic. All day there seemed to be a cleaning woman banging about outside the room and as the stairs etc are not carpeted you get noise from people clattering up and down. Could also hear the elevator ding. Don't think my hearing is that good but I do find noise disturbing and what bothered me might no you.
