rickfarang Posted August 3, 2002 Report Share Posted August 3, 2002 This is from the Lao Embassy in the U.S.'s web site: "Tourist visa is valid for 15 days staying, but following the policy of the National Tourism Authority of Lao PDR, foreign tourists are advised to buy a package tour through licensed agencies. Otherwise, the tourist visa will not be granted. " This does not ring true. Has anyone been to Laos on their own in the last month?
