I've been in it a couple of times and calling it "dismal" would be charitable (IMO) :-) Mia noi? Could very well be. He had a steady "girl friend" (as the girls used to call her) who tended bar at the Toy Bar (SC). Later, saw her tending bar at Tina's. Maybe she's moved over to the New Toy Bar.
