We've all got to show a bit of resistance.

I liken it to the ending of legal slavery in America. You had many Americans including the government at the time that accepted slavery as a neccessary evil for economic reasons. Yet that didn't stop dedicated groups of people who worked behind the public scenes to form abolitionist groups and the "underground railroad" network that allowed many slaves to escape to freedom. Many abolitionists and synpathizers were not in your face participants that challenged the system publicly, rather they were average people living everyday lives but helped in other behind the scene ways.

I think Farangs in LOS can educate Thais in a similar manner, something as simple as having a meal with a friend who is a middle class Thai businessman and talking about the Thai class system in a hypothetical fashion without insulting him yet causing him to think out of the box. Conversation is where it all starts.

BTW-Funny thing was that legal slavery in America only ended because of its' militarily and economically strategic value to the Federal Government against the Confederates.
