Guest Posted September 7, 2002 Report Share Posted September 7, 2002 I knew the ex- head of BKK non-immigrant visa office quite well. I asked her if I should be doing this.. Of course she said yes.. I asked her what would happen, if I did not.. She said nothing. I guess the minister in charge of immigration was away for awhile a few years ago and the deputy implemented the law while he was on sabatical. When the minister returned he did not agree with it but it was too late since it was on the books. I myself do not do this. I tried once and they wanted to fine me 2000B for being a week or so days late. Fine be for being honest. and trying to be one of the few guys who follow the law. baaaaaa. I have never returned..
