Man at Work
LOL, and have fritjes instead of rice! But I am planning to come back this fall and visit Tongerens Antiek-Market on a Sunday. But this weekend is for work!
Guest
There certainly used to be a restaurant called 'Tum Nak Thai' on Ratchada Pisek (close to Thailand cultural centre) where food was served by waitresses on roller skates. Last I heard it was closed and unfortunately I don't know of anywhere else where waitresses use roller skates - is that the particular quality that you were looking for in a restaurnat or just something a bit different with good food? Man at Work
Hihihi, I only eat if the food is served on skates! No, the rollerskating-thing was just a way to describe the place. It was very sceenic and (as I rember) not overly expensive. I am looking for such an restaurant to bring a very valued friend to in Dec. MaW

Guest
That's funny. I met an English girl some years ago, a dancer. She told me she was going to work in a restuarant in Bkk, rollerskating. She'd asked me to visit her. I'd forgotten all about it until I read this thread. She won't be there now, surely....... She was nice, blonde, though not my type. No breasts. Cute though, she was so nervous that she accidentally head butted her friend in her rush to give me her number. I've still got the postcard she sent me from Bkk.........
shotover
The Royal Dragon Restaurant on Bang-Na is reportedly the world's largest restaurant (seats around 5,000?), and has unique ways of delivering food, as well as evening shows.
