UAL875
Mr. Fatbastard: I am still in Bangkok and staying at the Royal President and highly recommend it. I had 4 bargirls in my room the other evening -- no problem. I am in a suite in the building just down the road from the main unit. I booked through an internet service which I found to be good value. The only "hidden" charge is that payment by Visa card will be "taxed" an additional 5%. No biggie. Give them a shot and good luck. If you PM me I will give you the full details (internet vendor, suite type, cost) when I get back to Tokyo in a few days!
stumpy
Hi FB, Hope you are well. I quite like the RP. Thaistyx is right in what he says and the lack of a pavement can be a little disconcerting as taxi fly past in the wee small hours. However the rooms are nice and I like the large walk in showers, plenty of room for you and a guest... Cheers, SD.
stumpy
4 girls in your room! That's an obscene amount of fun and I'm [color:"green"] green with envy... [/color]
Sporty
Well with 4 ladies the walk of shame. turns to a walk of delight! Just a quick questions, do they check or collect ID's there...
UAL875
Just a quick questions, do they check or collect ID's there...Two points, (1) I am 98% sure they do NOT collect ID's -- at least not in the annex building I was staying in. In fact, the security guard recognized the two girls I was alternating between on this trip and let them up to my room directly without a phone call or escort. I was fortunate that I did not have any compromising situations because of this (however when I get the time to write a trip report you will see how one of the girls ended up being a f*cking psycho). (2) Even though I had four VooDoo gals in the room, only one stayed behind for the night. I had owed my bg gf a birthday night out and afterwards the party spilled over to my suite but no Caligula like stories....sorry
Sporty
UAL875, Well for the last 2 night in Tower I, both of the fine lookin ladies I took home after 11 PM, were asked to give up their ID's, neither complained, and one even told me on the ride up in the elevator, it was done for my protection "some girls no good, and steal" .... UAL875
Sporty - Is Tower I the 6 story building around the corner from the main lobby? The one where the entrance way is also a parking garage? That is the building I stayed at. Because the security was not collecting IDs (I remember that none of the 4 VooDoo girls had to hand over identification - we went straight up the elevator). Maybe the security guards' boss reads this board and has since cracked the whip? :: Or maybe the guards just gave up when they saw 6 different chicks in a 2 day stretch? :: Anyways, it sounds like you are doing fine - even with the increased security measures!!! Cheers.
Sporty
Ual875, I guess a case of mistaken buildings.... Tower 1, is 17 floors, and across the courtyard from the main lobby. Its the one with the tour desk in the lobby, resturant veiwing the street... Last night, even with the same guard on duty, Log book, on the counter, and ID box there, no request for an ID from the lady... No idea why, but a real upscale lady, my only guess. Guest
UAL 875, I always give the boys in blue cigs and red bull on the way up when I'm taking 2 or more to the room hope I didn't mess it up for you!! I love the RP either the emerald suite or the normal 57m2 suite in tower 1. At 2,000 to 2,200 baht it's hard to beat.
