Guest Posted November 7, 2002 Report Share Posted November 7, 2002 Alright people chill you got to understand that I am coming from a city that has no palm trees and nice beaches, and it is freezing in the winter so therefore my first impression of Pattaya was wow! yeah its an nice place, but I know there are better in the world allot better. Guest Posted January 1, 2003 Report Share Posted January 1, 2003 Catch bus at end of skytrain (Mo Chit) nice bus, runs every 40 minutes, just show up and buy a ticket, cost 90B. Takes less than 2 hours and you end up at bus terminal North of town, lots of Baht busses to take you to your room. Hotel depends on your budget and who you want to impress. I love the Residence Gardens 1350B for big 1 bedroom unit with kitchen and in room safe. Ask for extra towel when you check in or you will be using wet ones late in the day 2nd time around. It is just outside of town towards Jontiem, quiet area but on Baht bus route (10 baht maximum if you get on bus with other people) make sure you get on bus "going toward Jontiem" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
