What a catch!!!!!

Glen Mcgrath flew like an eagle the paper says today.

Also say one of THE greatest catches in history.

It was a great catch but i have seen many others as good if not better, one handed slip catches low down etc.

Anyway another win 1

hope Perth is a contest!!!

Hope for poms sake they leave Lee out(he is on fire at the moment)

Yes, if they include Lee the Poms are dead meat. Wont handle the pace of the Wacca ground. Prediction: to be over after 3 days, poms to be crying for a 3rd time.

Yawn. Another win.

In the name of good ol' competition, I've come up with a new Ashes tri-sport format:

Cricket: Best of One, why prolong the agony?

Football: Best of Three with winner of cricket to have home advantage.

Rugby: Best of three with England to have home advantage as they are the form team in the world right now.

Let the Games begin!

The series is all over. The end of day 2 and the Aussies have a big 1st innings lead (271)and England are in their 2nd innings already.

To be fair to England they've had more than their fair share of bad luck but it really is men against boys. The Aussie bowlers are scoring more runs than Englands top order batsmen.

With England still 238 runs behind with only 9 wickets in hand it looks like another innings plus win for the aussies.Should be all over by tea on day 3,what a shambles.

After the 1st test bookies were offering fairly good odds on australia winning all the tests without needing the 5th day.Somehow I suspect they won't be accepting anymore bets.

03:00 on sunday morning as i write this(GMT).

25-30 mins into England's 2nd innings.

3 wickets gone already,i know they are bad,but this is ridiculous..

34-4,looking good, could they get less then the score in the 2nd test?.

2 wickets in 2 balls including a totally fucked up run-out caused by Butcher.

poor old Vaughn.

could have been 3 wickets in 3 balls, but Warne dropped a dolly.

at last a big celebration,Hussein has just hit the ball and doubled the mornings score.

3 runs in over 30 minutes,WOW.

but the one thing that pisses me off is that i did'nt have any money on the series.

i normally like a bet and would have had 4-1,4-0 or 5-0.
