Shenzen sanuk

I was in Shenzen about two years ago on a conference trip to China and we stopped off in Shenzen - Shangrila hotel for an evening meal. We arrived by train and were escorted all the way to the hotel by police. There was about 300 of us. I didn't eat Chinese food (or should I say the food on offer at the meal) so I decided to seek out a meal in the same building. I can't remember the namre of th place now - it was also a bar - Joe something I think was the name. Anyway there was about 12 girls which I took to be available there. Unfortunately (or fortunately for me) I didn't like the surroundings and oc course I had no place to bring one of the girls even if I had that in mind. All I can say is that there was lots of them available.

On the question of security we were all advised to go back to the railway station in groups because of 'pickpocketing' and also not delay on the way. It was dark outside when were going to the station. Not a nice experience.
