markle
Willem Dafoe and Gregory Hines, Fred Ward, Scott Glenn, Lots of talent but the movie's not that well known. I think there was general Vietnam movie fatigue when it came out. Vietnam movie trivia. Where was the Vietnam war movie 'Full Metal Jacket' shot? Hint- not in Thailand. kamui
Where was the Vietnam war movie 'Full Metal Jacket' shot? Hint- not in Thailand. the film was entirely?? shot in England, at a military training camp in Bassingbourne and at Enfield and Beckton. The bombed-out buildings were on a site outside of London that was owned by British gas; it had been scheduled for demolition, so Kubrick had it blown up and then used as a set. That is why you never have the jungle feeling and you miss the heat. It always looked grey and rainy, like UK ::
