Sporty
Hello, Does anyone know if a One Way Auto Rental is Possible? What I like to do is drive from BKK, to Issan, than return by train, overnight, maybe a 4 day rental? Any contact or pricing info appreciated. Straycat
Yes, possible. Your safest bet would be to contact any of the 'big' rental firms. Budget Thailand AVIS Thailand Straycat
samak
i agree with you, however they are a bit more expensive. for this price you can get a car with driver from a local company, who can drive back when you take the train. in addition you have to carefully check, wether all locations advertised are really in operation. i wanted to rent a car from one of those (i think it was AVIS) in Trang (as advertised) and after followup of my request, i was told, that Trang is not yet set up. i rented then from a local company, but they insisted, that i take a driver (first they intended to provide me an english speaking guide as they did not have an english speaking driver; i had to call them and convince them, that this would really not be necessary)
