Stickman
Looking for a change of scenery, a new apartment. Ideally, am looking for the following: - no more than 10 minutes walk from skytrain - 1 or 2 bedroom - balcony - up to 18,000 baht a month. If you have any suggestions, pelase let me know. Seen a few places but they have not quite met all of the criteria. Cheers, Stick

Nervous_Dog
There are some good places in Soi Aree, but you need to walk around a bit. Very good acces to freeway and skytrain and lots of food.

SingaporeSteve
Stick - Firend of mine rented a 2 bedroom place with large lounge and dining area, but tiny kitchen. Both bedrooms had bathrooms and a huge balcony running the length of the lounge dining room - must have been about 5 meters long. Apartment building is in Soi 15, cant remember the name but its just past Star Suites aptartments on the left hand side. Must be about 500M into the soi but that whole area is great to get around with access to Suk Soi 3, Asoke and of course Sukhumvit. He paid 20,000 for a 6 month lease - you might get it cheaper if your prepared to sign up for a year. Privately owned apartments with a pool and quite OK.
