Looking for a change of scenery, a new apartment.

Ideally, am looking for the following:

- no more than 10 minutes walk from skytrain

- 1 or 2 bedroom

- balcony

- up to 18,000 baht a month.

If you have any suggestions, pelase let me know. Seen a few places but they have not quite met all of the criteria.

Cheers,

Stick

See if you like this one:

KTA Mansion

Sukhumvit Soi 42,

Tel : 712-3400

Price : THB 6000 onwards

They have 1 and 2 bedroom apts. 2 beds come close to your price range.

Full of Thai students as the unis are near by. Less than 10 mins walk to the Ekkamai train station. No bgs in there. Some Thai mia nois, yes.

Out of 100 apts, 1-2 farangs in there.

No time limit on phone calls, other then 5 bht per 20 mins.

The street gets flooded under a very heavy rain. Security parking free (one car per unit). Thai security for the building.

Stick - Firend of mine rented a 2 bedroom place with large lounge and dining area, but tiny kitchen. Both bedrooms had bathrooms and a huge balcony running the length of the lounge dining room - must have been about 5 meters long.

Apartment building is in Soi 15, cant remember the name but its just past Star Suites aptartments on the left hand side. Must be about 500M into the soi but that whole area is great to get around with access to Suk Soi 3, Asoke and of course Sukhumvit.

He paid 20,000 for a 6 month lease - you might get it cheaper if your prepared to sign up for a year. Privately owned apartments with a pool and quite OK.

Cheers
