Mekong Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 Non of the above, in fact not even close by about 12,000 KM, on a Greyhound Bus leaving Seattle WA summer 1999. What are the odds of a Brit based in Thailand but in the US on business meeting a Thai studying in the states? Just got chatting and got on well together then when our respective traveling paths went their seperate ways exchanged email adresses and stayed in touch. Later on when we were both back in BKK I used to meet up with her and her friends once or twice a month for dinner and a few drinks and after a couple of years we grew closer to each other individually and occasionaly had nights out together without the Possee. The rest as they say is history, lived together as a couple for nearly 5 years now, the past 18 months as a married couple and thus getting the blessing of her T-C family. We still meet up with the crowd we spent time with when we first got together in BKK, in fact just last weekend we were at one of the friends wedding at Marriot Resort, by 10PM it was a mad ruch to hong naam of with the best bib and tucker into the casuals and a night in Cafe Del Moc to really party.
