Coss Posted June 11, 2018 Report Share Posted June 11, 2018 Well I just heard something interesting on Das Radio - At the Singapore Summit tomorrow the meeting will start with a one on one, just Trump, Kim Jong Un and two interpreters. For two hours before any one sane gets to meet. What could go wrong? It appears that someone sane, has manage to limit this, two hour play time, to 45 minutes... I'm watching the live coverage, the boys have just gone into the quiet room, with only two translators to prevent bloodshed. Both Trump and Kim Jong Un appeared unbruised and unbloodied. Trump did how ever look a little peeved, at being interrupted by his (Trump's) translator, every time he said something, then he waved the reporters away. Now we wait. He said that he and the North Korean leader were on the way to “a signing†but did not say what was to be signed. Trump was speaking as the two leaders came out of a “working lunch†with their teams of aides. The leaders began with a one-on-one talk, lasting about 40 minutes, then moved into expanded bilateral discussions with their top aides. The talks were the first time a sitting US president has met with a leader of North Korea. Trump and Kim met on the steps of the Capella hotel on Sentosa island in Singapore and shook hands in front of a display of US and North Korean flags. The handshake lasted about 12 seconds, but was relatively benign by Trump standards. All of which seem to be the same or toned down versions of stuff that NK agreed to in 2005. Words like "Commit to working towards..." But there are three documents that were signed, so we await some official word on the content.
