I've been through there 100s of times and never had a major issue (except when the closed the lounges for remodeling :onfire: a few years back). I agree that JFK is a shithole...three flight in and dramas each time. And completely old and worn out. I'd rather go to Newark and that says a lot considering I find NJ the armpit of the world LOL! The terminal serves now for many budget airlines as well and i read somewhere has 20% more passengers yoy. my experience for 3 trips to Singapore - terminal is cramped, incoming and outgoing passengers are on same level and bump into each other on the way from and to the airplane - had to wait two times 30-40 minutes for a taxi while outside the terminals the taxis were queuing as well (lack or organization) - outbound immigration 30 minutes queuing, no fast track at all - check in at SATS lounge for business class passenger: 30 minutes waiting - TG lounge is old with worn out furnitures; food, newspapers, magazine and service is good though different experience when I arrived with SQ from a long distance flight in Terminal 3: less than 20 minutes from plane to taxi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest lazyphil Posted April 3, 2011 Report Share Posted April 3, 2011 LK, dont feel awkward agreeing with me, falling inline with me is perfectly respectable :content: ......about airports, frankly, i'm a big kid at heart and just get a big buzz out of being in an airport, and even on airlines deemed shitty (often by champange socialists!!), theres a good chance i'm flying over some dirt poor shit hole country who dream about getting on a jet plane and going some place to have fun. i really have no patience for whiney arse miserable nit picky travellers.
