The_Munchmaster
Has anyone ever upgraded from one version of Photoshop Elements to another, i.e., I'm thinking of upgrading from version 8 to 10? In the gallery, what happens to all your images and all the tags you've attached and all the collections you've created, are they automatically transferred to the new version? I'm assuming they are. expat
If I were you I'd upgrade to Lightroom if at all possible (if you're using Elements for photographic purposes).
The_Munchmaster
Yep, using it for image gallery and editing (although not much editing yet). Why Lightroom?
Coss
Expat put me on to light room when I was using Aperture (Apple). Light room is "just better" in terms of ease of use etc etc Though I still use Photoshop (full) for editing, Lightroom makes the cataloguing and storage a breeze. Julian2
Picasa3 is all I use, I wasn't smart enough to get the full benefit out of PhotoShop. Plus their filing stem is the best I've come across.
The_Munchmaster
Think I'll stick to Photoshop as I've had it a while so I know it a bit. Also most of the video lessons available with photo mags are based on Photoshop. I've got literally hundreds of CD's from photo mags with all sorts of video lessons on them but never found the time to view them or try them!
