TroyinEwa/Perv
I remove the lint trap from the dryer after each load and remove all the trapped lint. Is this a good idea? Do all of you do the same?

cavanami
Thailand dryer = hang the wash outside in the sunshine...no lint trap required! ....but yes, good idea to remove the lint as doing so will keep the drying time at a minimum. Large, commercial dryers use a lint filter shaker to automatically remove the lint after each drying cycle.

Guest
Lost the instructions to Samsung top loader. With a self cleaning washing machine does it just clean mould build up and smells or does it also remove the lint away as well. This function has only come up once that took about an hour to complete, If there is a filter I have no idea where it is
