Mekong
Why does it take 2 months between election and results announced, is one man counting all the votes? Maybe it gives time for Pinocchio to fiddle the figures yet again Why an additional 3 weeks to choose PM, should the PM not be leader of the party? By comparison, the UK a similar sized country with same governance e.g. a parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy. OK, I know the UK has had elections a lot longer than Thailand but there the results are known within a few hours of polls closing and the leader is sworn in the following day. Why does it take Thailand 3 months to do what UK does in less than 24 hours?
