Ah I was afraid that everyone loved Obama, a good healthcare program and the Republicans and Tea party all of a sudden. Had me worried there. .... now back to my favorite entertainment

Why is the USA thread about Thainess all of a sudden? Ran out of things to complain about?

And to go back to Mylene Farmer. She always made her videoclips in the form of small movies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XazOkXRTyR4

Nice nice nice gentlemen! Great tunes there (both Bust and Mekong). Youssou N'Dour is a true artist. Long time ago I watched a concert of him. Couldnt understand the songs. But full of passion he performed! Now I cannot offer much in return but I really like this whacky song

From what I read he wants to introduce forbidding abortion and other "christian" values. If you want that, yes go ahead and vote for him.

I like this version a bit better because of the Piano in there. I love almost anything with a piano in there. Sentimental reasons. My first girlfriend in Suriname used to play the piano for me. Sometimes for an hour or 2 on end!

And I am of this generation btw the disenchanted one .... Songs background .... although not a big hit in the Netherlands the lyrics resonated with me personally (in those days lyrics in French songs were often subtitled on tv!) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9senchant%C3%A9e http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyZL3xcYcNU

I used to be a diskjockey on a local radio station for a year or 2 doing the morning show together with someone else as I had to run out to go to school at 08.15 (I was 16 at the time). From the 90ties I know most commercial tracks by heart (the ones that charted in the top 40). I spend all money that I earned on buying CD's quite expensive at the time as CDs where a new thing. I have always loved music of any kind really, through classical and opera too trance and most things inbetween. I see music as an expression of someone's soul. There is no bad music in my opinion, only music I personally do not like, or I do not like at the moment is is played as it doesnt reflect my mood. I hate it when people diss music, just because you do not lke it doesnt mean it is bad. If there is just one person liking a piece of music it has reached its purpose imho. Music is constantly evolving. Every generation in every country has its own "tunes". New classics are constantly being made we just do not know untill 10-20 years later. I personally hate the over hyping of some songs/ time periods (60/70s) which makes me hate the music as I feel the "hype" is overdone. Now the clip at the bottom is from when I lived in Suriname from 1985-1989. Huge hit there (and when I returned to Netherlands in 1989 it was the summerhit there LOL). Zouk and Kassav where 2 wildly popular music styles from the caribbean in Suriname. And to all the there is no good music since the 70ties people I can only say ..... open your ears ..... the best song still needs to be made

And to stay with classics .....

Now there is a trance version of that Verve track. Couldnt find it so stayed with this ..... another person walking down the street ....... brilliant tracks btw (Verve and this one)

Dear quality tourist. Waerths counseling is in front of Jewelry Trade Center. Not inside. And JTC these days has more fashion outlets than jewelry outlets. Also Waerths office sells hamburgers. regards, Waerth -
German Quality Tourist Gives Everything But Creates Boredom
waerth replied to buffalo_bill's topic in Relationships
Dear BuBi, my counseling office for foreigners of the kind hearted kind is currently located on Silom in front of the Jewelry Trade Center (next to the Holiday Inn hotel). Office hours are from 11 to 19, but I recommend you come between 14.00 and 17.00 as there is more time for me to counsel you then. My office is at an orange truck called Orn The Road. And while counseling you can enjoy a burger! W -
One of the best Progressive House mixes I have heard in quite a while:

I personally almost never read Stickmans site. So I do not know about that. But still, he made something many many people enjoyed reading. He put time and more importantly effort into it and he was loyal to his audience! That is why I reacted the way I reacted. As to doom and gloom and yesteryear was better ..... that is a human thing. To people like Flash music from 60ties and 70ties is the best there is. Nowadays many people from my generation (I am 42) will tell you 80ties and 90ties music was the best there ever was. Even some younger people in their teens are complaining on youtube already their was no better music then the music from the nineties. Yesterday was always better than today. I always have to chuckle inside when someone goes into that. I try not to do it myself, but I am sure I have said it on occasions. As to your bar Mark. Congrats, hope you will be doing well for the coming 20 years! I never really go out anymore so I have only been there once, a years or so ago, so I have no opinion on your bar or the prices. But I wish you all the best!

Stickman created a great site and service for those interested. He should be commended for that. The criticasters well ...... it is easy to watch and criticise and not do it yourself

Let me guess you charge foreigners double to ride your bike as a bike is more expensive in their own countries right?

Actually get 2 dogs, so they can keep each other company! Just make sure they are either 2 males or two females otherwise you will have a litter on your hand W

I agree that if there is a reason to believe it works that it needs to be researched. Problem with these claims is that so far in human history we have never ever had an actual cure for a virus disease. Bacteria yes, but even they grow resistant to our cures. But the flu virus, on which you could make billions if you found a cure, nothing yet. There is probably a cure for everything but we have brokered little success in most cases so far. Much of the cure can be found in bolstering our own immune system. Like when I get the flu I start eating and drinking a lot of lemon and orange and I take amino and vitamin supplements. It works, but not because it fights the virus. But because it helps your immune system fight the virus. As for the kill rate of 90% of Ebola, look at the WHO figures on Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia. It is closer to 50% lethal rate then 90%. As to human engineered ....... I really do not believe so. There are a ton more plausible explanations which are all natural. Also Ebola is a lousy candidate for a super virus killing of the population as its incubation time is to short, and it has to spread through human to human contact. A really fearful thing would be if ebola started spreading by air and its incubation time would be a month or more. That would be a real killer. If ever a virus so perfect would crop up I would start to consider the possibility that it might be human engineered. But it could still be naturally evolved. The current ebola outbreak is just not "dangerous" enough to be even considered humanly engineered. If it is, then these were sorry engineers not good at their job! As to the plan to kill of the human population. Then they really made a poor choice as to which countries to start in! As far as population densities are concerned all 3 of these countries rank as not densely populated. Apart from Liberia which has a high population growth they definitely do not rank highest. If you want to kill off the world population, as you allege there is this big plan to do so, it would make much much more sense to start in say Nigeria, Pakistan or Bangladesh all countries which are densely populated with populations of over 100 million people. Even if ebola killed of all citizens of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea it would barely be 21 million people. Not a big dent in the grand scheme of wanting to kill of 90% of the world population now does it? Also when it comes to connectivity to other countries in the world they would have choosen other countries if you want to make it have a chance to spread out. These 3 countries have some of the lowest air connectivity in Africa. Just thank god, buddha, allah and all the other gods out there it did not happen in Nigeria or Ethiopia or Kenya (much more likely candidates if you want to cull the world population) if these had been hit with their air connectivity to the world it would have spread around the globe already! W

The people whom write these articles on the net are very irresponsible and only help kill more people with their whack job science.

To be honest reading all these stories I am surprised the USA's second civil war has not started yet. No one seems to get along with eachother. Everyone seems polarised. Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Republicans, Democrats. Everyone hates the other camp and refuses to listen to what they have to say. It seems a sad state of affairs

It is idiot theories time again ........ sometimes I think the internet is the worst enemy of human kind.
