Does this service work like that?? Yes, exactly and more. You can call from your computer or mobile phone (install the program on the computer, or App on the phone). Then when you call out, you can show whatever number you have verified with them. I have my home number, work number, 3 mobile phones that I can show as the number callling from. Also can show my localphone USA number, or an InternetPhone number, my SIP number or even Hide the number. I use it often (also to the USA) and works at least as good if not sometimes clearer than Skype. Skype has gotten better over the years too. Finally - I divert my USA number to call my Thailand mobile phone - and when it diverts the call it also passes through the original number - so I can see who is calling me. Very cheap to use. Highly recommended.

I use localphone (https://www.localphone.com) - works just as good if not better than Skype. Plus, can sign up for a USA number - cost just a dollar per month to have that.

Sounds like a re-entry permit. You will normally get two stamps. One is the Extension of Stay, the other is the Non-Imm. (Immigration Thailand) Re-Entry Permit.

Just a BKK airport life hack. Go to the Boots store to buy drinks - you can get most non-alcoholic (cokes) and water for almost regular prices. Coke in a 500 ml bottle just 21 baht - compared to the 65 to 75 baht everywhere else.

KS - sorry - can't answer your question - I lived there for 6 years (5th - 10th grades in High School) - and besides the old time feel of the southern city with no really tall skyscrapers - I have no idea how it is ranked 2nd in the world. The whole airport car rental is a disappointment at best, a disaster normally. Make sure you know where you have to return the car. There are no signs to help you find the rental car return "hut" - it is close to the Public Transportation Center. All the big guys (except maybe Dollar/Enterprise) are at the main airport in the arrival area.

I also regretted spending 6K baht on an AigoPad. Was planned for my son so he would not take up all the home Ipad time. He refused to use it - the Ipad was just so easy. The AigoPad sits still unused - even I gave up on it - the android interface was so and not very touch sensitive. This was 2 years ago.

Go to tools / appearances (or Shift F12) - then to the Buttons tab - and there is a place to reset all toolbars to defaults. If that doens't work then look around in the Toolbar tab and change some of the settings there. Finally, check on the Themes tab if you got anything other than the Opera Standard.
