According to the Post, Pattaya has about 2,000 hotels with 136,000 rooms. If I had to guess, I’d say half are whorehouses. So, good luck Pattaya. I'm no prude, but you're getting what you deserve. What is this ? Ok, he is a blogger - so his opinion of something he knows nothing about matters?

Old school - Skype - started from the computer. Line - started from the phone. I use Skype 95% of the time, from desktop, tablet and iphone. 90% for chatting / 10% for voice/video calls. Line is used more as an alternative to texting.

Sorry if there was an earlier thread about this - I did search and could not find one. Anyways, a while back I was out at Fortune Mall and bought an Apple TV. Got it home and realized I didn't have an HDMI port in my TV, so it just sat in the box. Well, last night was in Big C and noticed a new Sony Bravia 32 inch LED tv on sale for 7,990 baht. So figured for the bedroom - it would be perfect. First - the TV is light as a feather - could not believe how light it was. No more metal in the TV, it is all plastic. But works - except could not figure out how to get th new Thai digital channels, but since that was not a priority for me - went straight to the Apple TV set up. A few required logins (wifi, apple id, turn on home sharing) and the TV is up and running. Now I need to figure out what I can do with it.

Domino's is back - started last year - believe 4 locations in downtown area.

I have gained more respect for President Bush AFTER he left the office. He really has been a model of what an ex president should do.

Kamui - the issue - is "For Life". Already have their security detail cost, believe that is now only for 10 years.

We need to elect leaders, and then appoint lawmakers. What the f%ck would a real "leader" want to deal with making laws? But way too late for that - look at Thailand - most of the major politicians - oh well -don't look at them is better!

Civil Union? Some important things like Life Insurance, pensions, wills, etc.. have to be thought of also. But why should only hetro's feel the pain of marriage/divorce? Lawyers, priests and the government should be thankful - what a business development market here! Tax and fees - here we come.

Killer Elite - enjoyed it - maybe because was trapped on the airplane, but I thought it was suspenseful.

You need to go down to the road by the port - between Soi 50 and Soi 42 - right outside the port entrance. This area always flooded in past years, so nothing out of the ordinary.

HH - the alternative we had the last 8 years already doomed the USA - not much anyone can do now to get out of the mess except a major and difficult default - and it will happen - probably in our lifetime.
