The project in an area beside the Deveron River in Aberdeenshire saw blackface sheep used as an alternative to chemical spraying. The flock successfully grazed its way through a jungle of hogweed. The skin pigmentation of the blackface sheep gives them protection from the toxic plant. Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) funded what was described as "promising" research. The sheep will now be deployed in other areas in Aberdeenshire with giant hogweed problems.

Watched it and it is superb, although at 3 hours it's about 30 mins too long. DiCaprio awesome as usual.

I actually bought the first series a few years ago but somehow never got around to watching it. Heard good things about it though so will download it as all my personal possessions are in storage in Dubai, where they've been for the last two years!

Downloaded it today so will watch soon, however some more Sopranos tonight I think.

I downloaded The Wolf of Wall Street the other day from Pirate Bay, along with a bunch of other movies, as there's not much else to do for entertainment here (Dead Sea) than watch movies or TV series, which is why I also downloaded the Sopranos yesterday. So I look forward to seeing it. Last night I watched Lone Survivor, an Afghanistan war flick about a group of four US specialists whose mission to assassinate a Taliban leader goes awry. Meant to be based on a true story and is an excellent watch. Stars Mark Wahlberg and Eric Bana. The night before I watched Homefront, a fairly predictable but entertaining flick about an ex DEA agent (Jason Statham) who moves to a small town with his daughter but falls out with the local pond life.
