Pharcyde Posted March 16, 2003 Report Share Posted March 16, 2003 I dont remember the name of the street, but i know it still exists and besides selling guitars and other musical instruments there are a few shops that do in army stuff. havent seen any weapons, but u might be able to get those under the counter..hehe if you cross the rachadamnoen rd, there will be the (in-)famous royal hotel on the corner roughly opposite of khao san rd,and if youre walking in direction towards the sanam luang. follow the soi that runs parrallel to the khlong on your left hand from the hotel. nearly all the shops sell guitars, that in fact are of good quality and not too pricey. then, if you continue a couple of hundred meters, youl see the army stuff piled up outside the shops. happy shopping, Pharcyde Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I ended up checking out Suan Chatuchak which is always an interesteing place to walk around and found a string of stalls selling such stuff there as suggested by OH above.
