After discovering her great voice, Thana Yodwiboon and "Sao Khon Kaen" who were both in the lukthung music business had invited her to start her career as a Lukthung singer. Her first album was "Tuk Lok Ook Rong Rien". Her first most popular singles were "Tuk Lok Ook Rong Rien", "Wan Puen Khien Jod Mai", "Palang Rak" and "Chao bao Haii". Jintara played in a TV-Series "Nai Hoi Tamin" which was her first role as an TV actress. Nai Hoi Tamin told the story of the life of the "Isaan Cowboys" in the past. Many famous Lukthung stars played in this series launched by channel 7. Jintara was very much honoured when she received the prize "The Best Lukthung Song" for her single "Raeng Ngan Khao Niew". It is to be sometime in the summer, maybe for the edinburgh festival whenever that is.
