Second the comments on food ::. Stayed at Tha Phrom hotel. No complaints. They were surprised when I had booked a single room and showed up with my "personal assistant". Guest Posted May 3, 2003 Report Share Posted May 3, 2003 I went in January 2000. Weather was really good. Can't see walking around and climbing steps in the July heat. Crowds weren't bad at all. Stayed at the Bayon Guest House. Well located. $15 for a single; a/c; tv; mini-fridge; hot shower in private bath; clean! (BTW, last month, Thai consulate was operating out of/adjacent to Japanese embassy in PP.) U can PM me if you have any other questions I might help you out with.
