Singapore Sars alert ends

Tourists from Singapore are now able to enter Phuket and Thailand generally without a Sars health check. The World Health Organization has removed the island nation from its list of Sars-alert countries.

Weerasit Raden, Chief of Port Health, Phuket International Airport, told the Gazette that travelers arriving from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China still require a medical check at the airport, where they will each receive a health passport requiring them to visit local hospitals or clinics for regular checks, or alternatively to wear a surgical mask during their stay.

snotty sing girls with attitudes

You mean the Five C's - Car, Cash, Credit, Career and Condo ? I get the distinct feeling that the smart young things in both Singapore and Hong Kong are in for a rude awakening over the next decade, as China reasserts itself as THE economic power in the region. I'm not talking about plastic toys here either - I'm talking about offshore financial services at rates that these overpriced centres simply cant match. The Singaporeans are survivors - they'll find an angle : it may simply mean that Daddy cant continue to make the payments on two Mercs AND support his mistress at the same time :)

Times have been tough in HK for some time, and will only get tougher, IMO.
