Old Hippie Posted July 2, 2003 Report Share Posted July 2, 2003 There is a discussion in another forum, and the question came up; If a man or woman undergoes a gender reassignment proceedure (sex change operation) then does the USA governemnt (or other) recognize the change on passports or visas? or does the birth gender remain in effect? If the gender change is recognized, then is there a note attatched saying they are trans gender? Just wondering how different governments deal with this.
