sayjann Posted November 10, 2003 Report Share Posted November 10, 2003 well i know a certain entrance is called 'Greek'....... :: not a game i will have a bet on,MU's record in greece is really bad and i have lost money before. but we shall see and after i lost a fortune on Real Madrid on Sunday,my internet account on funds is getting low.... as the next round is a straight knockout i think the teams winning the group are seeded and will not play each other. but i'm not sure if the rule about not playing a team from your country comes into effect yet. in previous seasons you could not play another team from your own country in the 1st 2 rounds. as MU have won the over hyped 'battle of Britain',i would love them to play Arse or Chelski and whip their arses...... sayjann Posted November 26, 2003 Report Share Posted November 26, 2003 the match must be included in some Gameweek,yes?. when this Group stage has finished we can change our teams and get rid of players with Teams which have been knocked out. if i for instance i have to change 5 players do i get an amnesty from the points docked for a transfer or will i lose 16 points?. will be interesting to see how people fare if the 4 point deduction rule is in effect. I also had Naybet from Deportivo who didn't play, so my Stuttgart defender comes on. I transfered him originally in but somehow it hasn't worked, now he comes in after all. Seems like little groups are starting to form with the first 2 a couple of points ahead of the next group of two and the same with the next group of two and well, I wont mention the next gap . sayjann Posted December 10, 2003 Report Share Posted December 10, 2003 i know you can change as many players as you want,but as for free?. i made some changes and they came off and earnt me more points than the original players.... a good score this week and while not making a lot of difference in position in the League,have caught up in the points department. most of us have players playing tonight,so things will change. going to be interesting when the knock-out phase arrives. teams knocked out,transfers having to be made,not enough funds and having to sell a good player to draft in 2 lesser ones. at the moment i have the majority of my players going through.but at least 2 will have to go.
